Libeso Photography is a low-volume personal photography business operated by Byron Arnao (Sag Harbor, NY). SMS is used only with existing clients and professional contacts, for appointment reminders, print-order and delivery notifications, and occasional follow-ups. Expected volume is under 50 messages per month. No marketing lists are purchased or used.
Consent is collected verbally, in person or by phone, at the time a client books a session or places a print order. The business owner reads the following script and records the client's response (name, phone number, date, and yes/no) in the client record before any message is sent:
"Would you like to receive text messages from Libeso Photography at this number? These would be things like appointment reminders, updates when your prints are ready, and occasional follow-ups about your order — typically just a few messages per order. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help. Do I have your permission to text you at this number?"
Only clients who answer "yes" are messaged. A client who declines, or later replies STOP, is marked as opted out in the client record and receives no further messages.
"Hi, this is Byron from Libeso Photography. Your prints are ready for pickup at the studio. Reply STOP to opt out."
